Our commitment

Accessibility statement

FL4AI wants people with disabilities to be able to understand, navigate, and use this website. Last reviewed July 16, 2026.

Target and approach

We use the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA as our target for the public website. Accessibility is treated as an ongoing product responsibility rather than a one-time certification.

Measures currently included

  • Semantic landmarks and a logical heading structure
  • A skip link and visible keyboard focus indicators
  • Keyboard-operable navigation, disclosure, theme, and form controls
  • A focus-contained mobile navigation dialog with Escape-key support
  • Form labels, inline error messages, status announcements, and retained input after delivery errors
  • Color combinations designed to meet AA contrast requirements
  • Support for reduced-motion preferences and content that remains visible without JavaScript
  • Responsive layouts, text resizing, and light or dark theme selection

Known limitations

Linked third-party platforms are independently operated and may not provide the same accessibility support. Automated checks cannot identify every barrier, and assistive technology behavior can vary by browser and device. We continue to test representative keyboard, screen-size, contrast, and browser paths.

Feedback and accommodation

If a page, control, document, or communication is difficult to use, email doug@goodsamaritaninstitute.org. Include the page address, the task you were trying to complete, your browser or assistive technology if comfortable sharing it, and your preferred response format.

We aim to acknowledge accessibility reports within two business days and will provide a reasonable alternative when practical while we investigate. This is a service target rather than a legal guarantee.

Technical compatibility

The site is designed for current versions of major browsers and common assistive technologies using standards-based HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Very old browsers or disabled browser features may receive a simpler experience, but core page content and contact information should remain available.

Assessment

Accessibility is evaluated through automated source checks and manual review of representative interactions and viewport sizes. We record substantive fixes in the website repository and review this statement when the interface materially changes.
